Pebbly Path is a small-batch rocky road business, handcrafted right here in Mudgee. We're female-led (founded and run day to day by Tash Davis) and proudly regional. We've picked up a couple of things along the way we're proud of: Business NSW's Excellence in Microbusiness (Regional Winner 2025, and again in 2023), recognition through the SHE-com Awards, and a bit of local press in the Mudgee Guardian.

Why Work With Us

We're a small operation. Most of our current team are mums who need work that fits around school pick-up and family life, and we've built our rostering to support that. You'll know everyone on shift with you, and you'll understand why the work matters, not just what to do next.

Roles here are casual, and our team scales up significantly from August through December for our busiest season. That said, if things go well for you and for us, casual doesn't have to mean short-term. As the business grows, ongoing work past December is genuinely on the table for the right person.

The Kind of Roles We Hire For

We mostly hire into production (making product, following our recipes and processes, packing and quality checks), with occasional casual roles at our weekend markets. What We Look For

No food production experience needed. Attitude matters more than your CV. Here's what actually counts:

• You follow instructions and processes without needing to be chased
• You notice what needs doing and get on with it
• You ask when you're not sure, rather than guessing
• You raise things directly with us, not sideways to teammates
• You show up on time and ready to work

Hours & Roster

Shifts are a minimum of 8 hours. Days worked vary across Monday to Friday, plus weekend markets for anyone keen (paid at weekend penalty rates). Hours are noticeably busier from August to December, our peak production period.

FAQs

Is this ongoing work or just for the busy season?
It's casual, and our team is largest from August to December. For the right person, there's real potential for it to continue beyond December as the business grows.

Can under-18s apply?
Yes. We're open to junior after-school roles for eligible under-18s. Get in touch and we'll talk through what's possible for your age and availability.

What are the hours like?
Minimum 8 hour shifts, any combination of Monday to Friday, plus optional weekend markets.

What happens after I register my interest?
