There’s a moment I will never forget.
Sitting in a crowded room, lights low, the hum of conversation all around – and then I heard it. "Pebbly Path – Winner of the 2025 Excellence in Micro Business Award."
My heart skipped a beat, and I looked at my mum beside me. I took her this year instead of my husband, because without her, Pebbly Path wouldn't exist. She’s been my rock, my biggest supporter, and my safety net when the rollercoaster of business got too wild. And in that moment, I got to turn to her and say, "We did it." Not just me – we. She deserved to share that moment as much as I did.

This year has been one of the hardest yet. Running a business isn't always the glossy, joyful adventure it looks like on social media. It’s early mornings, late nights, constant problem-solving, and the crushing weight of making it all work. But standing on that stage, award in hand, reminded me why I keep going – because every piece of rocky road I make is a promise. A promise to do things differently, to support mental health, to make premium treats without sacrificing the planet, and to keep showing up, even when it’s tough.
Winning the Western NSW Region Excellence in Micro Business Award isn’t just a win for me – it’s a win for my team, for every customer who’s believed in us, for my family who have supported me at every step, and for my mum – who has given me the courage to keep going.
And of course, it’s a win for you – the amazing community who choose Pebbly Path, who share our products, who cheer us on, and who support small businesses like mine.
